Last night I was awakened by the sounds of what I thought to be a woman being murdered and/or raped. A sound I would never like to hear in real life again. I woke my girlfriend up to confirm that I wasn’t dreaming or just hearing things. We both hopped up and were freaking out not knowing what to do. We went out on our balcony and it was so loud, echoing. Fearing the worst, my girlfriend says something like “Are you OK?”. Then the noise stopped. Soooooo Creepy!
I did some research this morning and I found this video. This is exactly the noise i was hearing. I guess/hope it was a female fox doing her mating call.
